I have always been a big movie lover and the rest of 2017 and beginning of 2018 is a very exciting time for the movie industry. A lot of new movies are coming out that many have been waiting patiently for! From “Jumanji” to “Pitch Perfect”, you can find what you need to know here!
Only the Brave – October 20th,2017
Biography, DramaPhoto Courtesy of IMDb
Based on a true story of the Granite Mountain Hotshots, this group of firefighters will risk everything to protect their town and the ones they love from one of the biggest wildfires in history. They picked some great actors for this movie such as Taylor Kitsch from “Battlefield” and “Lone Survivor”, as well as Miles Teller from the “Divergent” series. This movie is a tear jerker waiting to happen but should be an amazing story!

In the future, natural disasters have become a thing of the past because satellites are able to destroy those disasters before they even happen. Until something goes wrong and the one system that has been built to protect the planet is now trying to destroy it. A Bad Moms Christmas – November 1st, 2017
Action, Adventure, Comedy
“Bad Moms” part two has officially come to town and they are bringing more than just laughs. This movie follows our three classic under-appreciated moms through the challenges and expectations of the biggest event in mom history–Christmas. While creating a perfect Christmas for their families, they also have to entertain their own mothers. This movie will leave you with tears in your eyes from laughing!
Daddy’s Home 2 – November 10th, 2017
Comedy
This movie is another holiday comedy that will leave you laughing! Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell team up with Mel Gibson and John Cena to give us a “Daddy’s Home 2”! If you saw the first one then you know the second is going to be great too, except this time they are dealing with their fathers during the holidays.
Coco – November 22nd, 2017
Animation, Adventure, Comedy
For those of you who love animation (me!) this one looks great. A truly heartwarming story about a young musician who gets the chance to take a journey to the Land of the Dead for an unexpected family reunion. After playing his way to the “other side” he must find his way back home. While this may be classified as a kids movie but who doesn’t love one of those every once in a while?
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle – December 20th, 2017
Action, Adventure, Comedy
Back at it again! Dwayne the Rock Johnson, Kevin Heart, Karen Gillan, and Jack Black star in the second “Jumanji,” but this time, they get sucked into the game rather than the game coming to life. If you love drama and these hilarious actors, this is the movie for you!
Pitch Perfect 3: Last Call Pitches – December 22nd, 2017

After their win at the world championships, the Bellas will reunite for one last competition overseas in “Pitch Perfect 3”. As always, these actors will make us laugh till our stomachs hurt and leave a lasting impression!
Insidious: The Last Key – January 5th, 2018
Horror, Mystery, Thriller
As all the “Insidious” movies, this one will send chills down your spine. In the ongoing “Insidious” franchise, Parapsychologist Dr. Elise Rainer is faced with his most personal haunting yet in the comfort of her own family home. This story brings us to Five Keys, New Mexico where Elise use to live. It digs up some deep, forgotten memories and creates the biggest challenge in the series yet.
Maze Runner: The Death Cure – January 26th,2018
Action, Si-Fi, Thriller
In the third book in the Maze Runner series, Thomas must sneak back into the horrible place he snuck out off in search of a cure for the deadly disease “Flare”. He and his friends travel into the labyrinth that WCKD controls which could possibly be the deadliest maze they have faced yet. I’m really looking forward to this one. If you haven’t seen any of the previous “Maze Runners”, I highly recommend them.
Gnomeo and Juliet: Sherlock Gnomes – March 23rd, 2018
Animation, Comedy, Family
Gnomeo and Juliet come to the rescue again by recruiting the renowned detective Sherlock Gnomes to investigate the disappearance of other garden ornaments. Jonny Depp plays the voice of the detective while Emily Blunt and James McAvoy continue their series as Juliet and Gnomeo.

I just couldn’t leave this one out. The moment most of you have been waiting for–the final movie in the “Fifty Shades of Grey” trilogy. After a long honeymoon, the newlyweds return to their home in Seattle where things start to take a mysterious spin. Business trips, sneaking around, and surprising news will keep you on your toes for the last movie in the series.
