After the second part of the season finale of The Bachelor, in which Arie choose Lauren B. over fan favorite Becca K., Bachelor Nation was treated to a “surprise” announcement that Becca K. will be the next Bachelorette.
So who is Becca Kufrin?
She is a 27 year old publicist from Minneapolis, Minnesota.
She was the runner up on Arie’s season of The Bachelor.
After being first proposed to then dumped by Arie on national television, fans sent her $6,000 on Venmo so she could “buy a drink and relax.” She is donating the money to Stand Up To Cancer and The Bachelor is matching the donation.
A Minnesota State representative tweeted if he gets 1,000 retweets he will author a bill banning Arie Luyendyk Jr. from Minnesota. It received over 10,000 retweets.

She is an Aries. Her birthday is April 3.
She graduated from Minnesota State University with a BS in Mass Communications in 2012. She was super smart and was a Golden Key International Honour Society member.
Her father passed away when she was 17 and family is very important to her— as we saw during her time on The Bachelor.
