I am someone who has always enjoyed traveling, and I have been to quite a few places in my lifetime; however, there are still a few places that remain high on my bucket list. Obviously I am not going to list every destination I have ever wanted to visit, but here are my top three places that are on my bucket list:
1. New Zealand
I have mentioned in a previous article (which you can read here) that New Zealand is my absolute dream vacation. I was initially intrigued because the “Lord of the Rings” series was filmed there, and you can tour Hobbiton, which was a filming set used in the movie. New Zealand has a lot more to offer, including some beautiful views, but you can read more about all that New Zealand has to offer in my previous article.
2. Alaska
I, like so many other people, have always wanted to take a cruise. Although cruises to tropical places such as The Bahamas or The Caribbean do sound nice, I have always dreamed of taking an Alaskan cruise; however, I want to visit Alaska one day whether it be by cruise or not. Alaska has various national and state parks and forests, as well as wildlife conservation centers and various other natural attractions. Like New Zealand, it excites my inner sight-seer, and I love any chance to see animals in their natural habitat.
3. Sweden
I want to visit several locations in Europe, but Sweden has a special spot in my heart, as some of my ancestors immigrated from Sweden. There are several museums and amusement parks that sparked my interest (they have an museum for the music group ABBA)! And of course I would love to visit Stockholm in particular. I have heard so many great things about Stockholm, and taking a walk down the streets seems to take you back in time.
