For several years now I have dreamed about vacationing at one particular country: New Zealand. I have wanted to visit New Zealand since learning that both “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit” films were shot there. I am a huge fan of the movies, especially “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy, and I have dreamt about being able to visit Hobbiton, which is the actual set of the Hobbit houses used in the films. Although the films have been the primary source for me wanting to go there, New Zealand has some absolutely breathtaking views. I have always enjoyed sightseeing and being able to just take in a beautiful scene that lay before me on vacations.

New Zealand is full of national parks (Abel Tasman National Park, Fiordland National Park, Tongario National Park, etc.), which peaks my interests quite a lot. New Zealand also has the Sky Tower, which features bungee jumping, a high-end revolving restaurant and panoramic views, which excites the inner adrenaline junkie in me. There are also plenty of museums and aquariums, and again, there is so many attractions that just involve the simplicity of sightseeing (which I adore).

Obviously I would not consider New Zealand to be on everyone’s list of dream vacation spots, but I hope I brought some more attention to a country that I think is highly underrated. This is also only one location that I want to visit before I have completely settled down in life, but it is definitely number one on the list. I advise anyone to research more on what attractions New Zealand has to offer, but for now enjoy the beauty of this country!
