Why did you choose Belmont?
I chose Belmont originally for its location since I was going in as undeclared major wise. My entire family lives in Tennessee so it was important to me to go somewhere close. Belmont is a great school and I’m so glad I chose it because it’s opened doors and allowed me to study things that most schools don’t offer.
What’re your career goals?
My dream job would be doing marketing within some aspect of the TV industry (I used to think I wanted to do screenwriting but have found marketing to be more my speed). But I’d be just as happy doing any marketing or advertising anywhere!
Favorite place to go in Nashville?
I really like the Gulch (except on weekends cause it’s filled to the brim with tourists).
Do you have any hobbies?
Aside from Netflix? I enjoy cooking, drawing and sometimes crafting.
What’s your favorite class you’ve taken at Belmont?
This sounds weird but my favorite was American Government with Vaughn May, I went into the class really dreading it but ended up loving it. It was a tough class (with a lot of boring reading) but I felt like I really learned a lot from the lectures.

Jack White, Fleetwood Mac & Hozier
Favorite Movie?
I love a movie franchise so pretty much anything Marvel has done. Lord of the Rings has also been a huge staple for me; I could watch it any time anywhere.

Favorite Food?
I could probably eat pizza about every day of the week.
What would you say to someone considering joining the HC team?
Do it! I joined in 2017 as senior editor and HC has provided me so many opportunities and valuable resume experience. HC is also a great way to get involved with a group on campus; even if writing isn’t your strong suit there are other roles to fill and we are always accepting applications. I’d say if you’re interested to even just learn a little more don’t hesitate to reach out!
