Mini Fake Tree

Lights
Who doesn’t love lights? You can get them for all different reasons and hang them in all sorts of ways. Honestly lights will just brighten up your mood every step of the way when it comes to the holiday season. This year I decided to bring back some lights for Hanukkah and I love the way that I hung them above my desk.
Snowflakes
This is more of a winter thing, but you can also use them for the holidays. Every year the manager in the mailroom at my school decorates the mailroom with lights, snowmen and snowflakes.
Gel Clings
You can put these on mirrors or windows. We all love this idea because it is cheap, quick, and easy for a broke college student to have some decor and feel the holiday cheer.
Menorah
We all need one, but most college students can’t light fire in their dorms rooms so the best solution is to buy a battery operated menorah. They can be a bit expensive but if you can and want to use it more than once it is well worth the money you will spend on it.
Tinsel
You could decorate your room with tinsel for the holidays if you don’t have a tree but you still want to feel some of the Christmas holiday cheer. There are so many different colors to choose from.
Wreath
So many people love to put this on their doors because it really reminds them that it is the holiday season. You could but a fake light-up one or a real one, it does not matter. What matters is that you take the time to decorate your door with something that means it is the holiday season.
