Students of St. Ambrose, meet Megan Grady! (my bestie and first campus celeb!)
Megan comes from the small-town of Amboy, IL where we had the incredible opportunity of growing up together. In high school, she ran track and cross country, performed in musicals, and participated in pretty much every club possible. Her family includes dad (Jim), mom (Linda), and twin sister (Hannah), who is currently attending the University of Illinois. She also has a cute pup named Piper and a hugeeee extended family.
In her second year here, Megan is studying History Education. She chose Ambrose for its healthy balance of both sports and school, allowing her to continue to do what she loves while taking on life as a full-time student. A two sport athlete, she is on both the Track and Cross Country teams, GO BEES! Megan competes in long-distance events such as the 5K and 10K and runs approximately 55 miles a week (that’s farther than I drive in a week!) She is also involved in campus ministry, Kappa Delta Phi and Phi Eta Sigma honor societies. In her free time she enjoys taking naps, watching Netflix, and reading books. Megan’s future plans are simply to live life and be happy!
