We all know that April can be a really stressful month for everyone. No matter what year you are, April is filled with changing weather, work overload, and exams. I always listen to music to help get me through the long days, especially when I am doing work or letting out steam at the gym. No matter what you’re doing or where you are, these songs will help you get through it!

1. Monopoly by Ariana Grande (ft. Victoria Monet)

Ariana does it again with this catchy pop tune. It’s definitely a feel good type of song that will automatically help change your mood.

2. Who’s Got Your Love by Cheat Codes (ft. Daniel Blume)

This song sounds like the 90’s song that has been remixed by a popular DJ. However, this song by Cheat Codes is 100% their own sound. It’ll definitely make you want to get up and dance.

3. Sucker by The Jonas Brothers

If you don’t live under a rock, you’ve probably heard this new Jonas Brothers song. I don’t know about you, but my twelve year old self freaked out when this song was released. There’s just something so satisfactory and nostalgic about listening to this song.

4. Good Time by Ocean Park Standoff (ft. R3HAB) – R3HAB Remix

Just like the title, this song will surely give you just that. No matter what kind of mood you’re in, there’s no way that this song won’t make you want to get on your feet and have a good time.

5. Look What God Gave Her by Thomas Rhett

Although Thomas Rhett is a country singer, you don’t need to be a country music person to love this song. It’s a catchy song with that perfect pop-country balance.

6. I Can’t Get Enough by benny blanco, Selena Gomez, J Balvin, and Tainy

There’s just something about this song that you can’t help but love. It features Selena Gomez in the chorus with a soft yet catchy tempo in the background. J Balvin comes in with a spanish verse as well!

7. WESTWORLD by EVAN GIIA

This song is the perfect upbeat song to have playing in the background of whatever you’re doing. It’s catchy and simple, but definitely will get stuck in your head. So be prepared!

8. Dots & Lines by Lupe Fiasco

Yes this is by the same artist that sings “Battle Scars” and “The Show Goes On,” which automatically reminds me of my middle and high school days. However, this song is so different and you would never know. It’s a hidden gem for sure.

9. Me & You by HONNE and Tom Misch

If you don’t know this song, you definitely should. I can’t quite explain what I mean, but if you listen you’ll understand. Just trust me.

10. Son’s Gonna Rise by Citizen Cope and Robert Randolph (New Radio Mix)

I found this song watching one of my favorite shows, One Tree Hill. It came out just about fifteen years ago but it’s worth the listen. Every time I hear it I’m automatically put in a better mood.

11. Sundress by A$ap Rocky

A$ap Rocky is one of my favorite artists out there. Typically, his music involves some sort of hard rap in part of the song, or even the entire song. However, this song is nothing like the rest of his music. A$ap samples a song by Tame Impala in it. If that’s not enough to make you listen I don’t know what will.

12. Mardy Bum by Arctic Monkeys

This song will always be one of my favorites. It never gets old and is appropriate for pretty much any activity or any occasion. Enjoy.

13. She Moves In Her Own Way by The Kooks

This is an old song that’s been in lots of shows and movies. It’s one of those songs that you feel like you recognize but don’t know why. The Kooks are a classic rock indie English band and they’re 100% worth the listen.

14. Ritual by Wrabel

This is another one of my all time favorite songs. I’ve never heard another song that’s quite like it. It’s catchy, upbeat, and just everything you could want in a song. Thank me later.

15. Cigarette Daydreams by Cage The Elephant

Okay I know I said this before but, THIS song is probably my all time favorite. It’s a well known song, but it never gets old and can be easily forgotten. It’s the kind of song you want to drive with the windows down to.

16. Dante’s Creek by THEN.

I found this song my freshman year, and it’s become a staple song for me and all of my friends. I always have this song on repeat because it’s one of those songs that’s addicting to keep replaying. Once you start, you won’t be able to stop.

17. September Song by JP Cooper

Whenever I play this song, I instantly think about a fun summer’s day. It’s one of those songs where you just can’t help and sing along when you hear it.

18. Beach by San Cisco

I first heard this song in a Hollister by my house years ago. I will admit, I Shazam’d it and I’m so happy I did.

19. Sugar by Peking Duck and Jack River

This is another hidden gem. It’s the perfect song to jam out to with friends during a party or honestly to just jam out to by yourself. It’s a good one, I promise.

20. Sleep Talking by Charlotte Lawrence

I showed some of my friends this song last year and they’re so glad I did. It’s upbeat without being too much. It’s perfect for those late night library sessions or even a good treadmill session. Whatever it is you’re doing, this song is perfect.
