Fall. It is a wonderful time of the year filled with yummy drinks, cozy sweaters, and beautiful autumn foliage. Some people love the change from hot and humid to cool and brisk, and others not so much. In case you did not already love fall, here are five ways to make you fall even more in love with one of the best times of the year.

Fall Drinks

Treat yourself! Every year when autumn comes around so does the Pumpkin Spice Latte. Whether Starbucks or Dunkin is your go-to, make sure to enjoy one of these before they disappear for another year. If you are trying to enjoy fall on a budget, try making your own Hot Apple Cider! Just take a pot of boiling water and add apples, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and maple syrup. Now you have enough for a week or two of festive fall drinks.

Apple Picking

Perfect if you wanted to make some homemade apple cider or if you are feeling adventurous, a fresh apple pie! Apple picking can be a fun date or a friendly outing. The pretty apple trees will make the perfect background for your fall photo shoot of you in that new sweater. Bonus, you get to snack on the apples when you are done picking them and really see how your hard work paid off.

Pumpkin Carving

Grab a couple pumpkins and carving sets and you are ready to go. I personally recommend printing off the picture you want to carve and pinning it to your pumpkin, but if you have better artistic abilities than myself and are a carving master, go for it stencil free! You can even go pick your own pumpkins from a pumpkin patch to make it a whole day adventure.

Bonfires

Grab some friends and rent a fire pit (or use one that someone has SAFELY placed in their backyard). Make sure to bring a lighter and some dry would to get the fire going. Be the new favorite by bringing the ingredients necessary to make smores. Guaranteed good food and good fall times.

Football Games

Even if you are not into the sport, tailgating is super fun. You can make super cute tops to wear to the tailgates and games with friends. If you do enjoy the games, make sure to get a ticket in advance, otherwise, they get pricy. Also, make sure to go with someone that wants to watch the game and will not make you leave at half time.

Whatever it is that makes you fall in love with fall, make sure you enjoy it! The season can be short and once winter comes it is cold and long! Enjoy your fall!
