We all love self care and the spa! However, spas can be super overpriced with their specialty facials, creams, lotions, and masks. Here are some DIY spa products that are easy to make, affordable, and fun!

Avocado Face Mask

Want glowing skin? Mash ½ of a ripe avocado with 1 teaspoon of plain yogurt and a teaspoon of honey. Leave on skin for 10-15 minutes and rinse with warm water.

Mask that Detoxes Skin

Mix 2 teaspoons of clay with 1 teaspoon of coffee grounds and a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. Mix mixture with a spoon and apply until the mask hardens, rinsing with warm water.

Berry Sugar Hand & Face Scrub

A berry sugar scrub for both hands and face: mix ¼ of freeze-dried strawberries or raspberries with one cup of white sugar, ¼ cup of doTERRA coconut oil and optional essential oils. For added softness, add moisturizer or apply lotion afterwards

Spa Exercise

Get that spa exercise! There’s nothing wrong with doing yoga alone. Pop on some relaxing music, such as this Spotify yoga playlist, and meditate or use a YouTube yoga tutorial to zen out!

At Home Mani-Pedi

Invest in a nail filer, cuticle trimmer, a cute shade of Essie nail polish, and a reliable topcoat! Start by filing your nails and then soaking your hands in warm water. After the soak, work on trimming your cuticles and making sure the nails are prepped for polish. Do two coats of your favorite polish followed by a topcoat. Kick your feet up and relax!

Take a Warm Bath

A Lush bath bomb never hurts for this step! Otherwise, bubble bath and epsom salt soothes skin perfectly. Light some candles or use an essential oil diffuser to create a calm ambience. For college girls: a shower with essential oils works, too!
