You tear my heart out.

When you laugh my heart aches.

That look in your eyes tell me it’s not a lie.

No.

That’s just a trick of the light.

I could see the anger on her face.

But she is not justified

Not after she hurt you.

But Dear Lord I made a mistake.

In a thoughtless word

I made a mistake.

You pulled my heartstrings

till I could stand it no more,

It hurts.

I want to punch you in your stupid handsome face.

And then all at once it’s gone.

You lied

With your tail between your legs, you cower.

I hope you’re happy with your thinly veiled lies.

I won’t let you break my heart tonight.

Don’t come crying to me when she breaks yours.

I told you so.
