As February comes around the corner, Valentine’s Day is close behind. Regardless of whether you are celebrating self-love, an intimate relationship, or a friendship, we all have a long-term partner to honor: Netflix.
Netflix has always been with us from date nights to long nights alone in quarantine and everything in between. Netflix (and Hulu) is once again here for us this February with new updates to their already impressive lineups.
According to TVGuide.com, in honor of Valentine’s Day, Netflix has added classics such as Eat, Pray, Love (2010), My Best Friend’s Wedding (1997) and new Netflix Originals such as Layla Majnun (2021), Squared Love (2021), and To All The Boys: Always And Forever (2021). Malcolm and Marie (2021), the much talked about black-and-white drama starring Zendaya and David Washington, is set to be released on Netflix on February 5th. If romance is not your thing you will still have plenty to choose from such as Inception (2010), National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989), and the Conjuring (2013) and the Conjuring 2 (2016).
Hulu does not disappoint with its line up of romantic and not-so romantic offerings. TVGuide.com shares that Hulu is adding classic movies such as 9 to 5 (1980), Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979), II (1982), III (1984), V (1989), VI (1991), Star Trek: Insurrection (1998), GI Jane (1997), Some Kind of Wonderful (1987) and You’ve Got Mail (1998), as well popular reality television shows, including Season 19 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Season 139 and 140 of House Hunters International, and Season 10 of Married at First Sight.
