With the spring season beginning on March 20th, what better way to celebrate than picking up some home decor items that reflect the season! Decorating your home for spring not only gives your home a fresh new look but can also bring you a new sense of motivation with the hope of a fresh start marked by the beginning of the season.

Here are four of my favorite spring decor items that can help brighten up your home without breaking the bank:

Spring picture frames

Floral picture frames are the perfect way to add a small touch of springtime to your living space. Two of my personal favorite spring picture frames are the Dagny Frame (Anthropologie $24) and the GIFTY GIFTY Vintage Thin Boarder Floral Photo Frame (Amazon $14.99). The Dagny Frame adds a great touch to any space by bringing in floral elements and pastel colors while the GIFTY GIFTY Vintage Thin Boarder Floral Photo Frame adds a touch of elegance through its gold floral border.

Floral and fruit-scented candles

Floral and fruit scented candles not only add a touch of springtime by reminding you of the smells of the season but also can add a pop of pastel color to any space. Capri Blue Mini Glass Jar Candles (Anthropologie $14) comes in amazing spring scents like ivory primrose and lola blossom, and beautiful light pink and teal iridescent colors. For a scent that’s more calming, I recommend the Fresh Cut Lilacs Single Wick Candle (Bath and Body Works $14.50). The smell of lilacs creates a relaxing atmosphere in every room where it is lit.

Pastel throw pillows

Want to add some springtime colors into your home while also adding a little bit of comfort? Look no further than these adorable pastel throw pillows! For a simple splash of pastel pink I recommend the Blush Velvet Throw Pillow (Cost PLus World Market $9.99). If you are looking for a pillow that is a little more unique check out this Rainbow Tufted Mini Throw Pillow (Urban Outfitters $22.00). Both of these pillows will make a great addition to any bed or couch!

Fake plants and flowers

Don’t get me wrong, I am all for owning real plants and flowers but, sometimes I don’t have enough time to properly take care of them. This is why I think that fake plants and flowers are an amazing alternative that will last all season long. An amazing place to find realistic looking fake flowers is Etsy. This 1 Bunch of Silk Peony Bouquet (Etsy, Breadtree11 $10.39) comes in many different spring colors like pink, yellow, green, purple, and orange. In terms of fake succulents, this adorable set, Mini Glass Geometric Terrarium Container (Amazon $20.99), not only looks realistic but also adds uniqueness through the geometric terrariums the plants are placed in.

Happy spring shopping!
