If you’re like me and living on a college budget, then you probably don’t have the money to drop at high-end makeup stores. But thankfully, drugstore makeup can be a bang for your buck if you find the right products. Here are a few that I love for their quality and their price!

  1. Rimmel Stay Matte Mattifying Primer: $5.97 I have been using this primer as the base on my face for years. It does a great job of concealing my acne, preventing oil, and comes with a ton of product at a great price!
  2. Maybelline Fit Me! Matte and Poreless Foundation: $7.99 If you’re like me, then oil is a serious problem for you, and you’re probably constantly blotting. Thankfully this foundation does a great job of keeping my oil under control all day, even on nights when I’m going out. And at just under eight dollars, it is definitely worth the purchase!
  3. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer: $6.49 To go hand in hand with your Fit Me foundation, I also suggest the very popular Fit Me Concealer! It blends so nicely with the foundation, adds brightness and covers up acne. A must try!!
  4. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder and Rimmel Natural Bronzer: $3.97 and $3.97 Another dynamic duo that I cannot suggest enough!! The two do a phenomenal job of keeping my foundation and concealer in place all day and adding some definition to my face!!
  5. L’oreal True Match Super-Blendable Blush: $10.95 A little on the pricier side for drugstore makeup but definitely worth the extra few bucks!! I suggest the color spiced plum!!
  6. Essence Lash Princess Mascara: $4.99 One of my most recent finds!! Not only does it do a great job of making my short lashes have that false lash effect, but it is also cruelty-free!!
  7. Arches and Halos Microfiber Tinted Brow Mousse: $12.99 The most expensive product on the list, but definitely one of the best! This brow mousse gives your brows a little more color and keeps them in place all day while still looking very natural! I use Warm Brown!
  8. e.l.f cosmetics Makeup Mist and Set: $5.00 And to tie your whole look together, I suggest this setting spray that’s infused with vitamin a, c, and e to keep your skin moisturized and makeup looking fresh all day!

Remember, no two faces are alike, so what works for me may not work for you, but if you find yourself on a budget and looking to try something new, definitely give these a shot!!
