As Halloween quickly approaches, finding something fun, scary, and new to get you in the spooky spirit may be difficult. Lucky for you, YouTubers Sam and Colby are back this year with Hell Week! Whether you’re already a fan or just hearing of them for the first time, I’m here to guide you through everything you need to know about Sam and Colby’s Hell Week 666 (2026).

What is Hell Week?

Hell Week is Sam and Colby’s annual YouTube series, released every October, during which they investigate places that are rumored to be haunted, in search of evidence of the paranormal. During Hell Week, they typically bring in guests, usually other creators, and visit places that are even more notorious for their haunted reputations than the places they usually investigate.

They’ve been hosting Hell Week since 2020. This year’s is dubbed Hell Week 666 because it’s the sixth anniversary of the series, and they’re posting six videos for it!

Who are Sam and Colby?

Sam Golbach and Colby Brock are two YouTubers known for their paranormal investigations, urban exploration, and other adventurous content.

The two grew up in Kansas and reportedly bonded at camp when they both liked the same girl, becoming lifelong best friends. Before becoming YouTubers, they gained popularity on Vine, which I like to think of as the TikTok before TikTok. In recent years, their content has been primarily focused on investigating the paranormal.

I’ve kept up with every Hell Week since the very beginning, and I’m personally so excited to see what they do this year with the locations and guests being more popular, and possibly more haunted, than ever!

This year’s Guests

From the trailer for this year, it seems like Golbach and Brock have collaborated with Dan Howell and Phil Lester (also known as Dan and Phil), and the Kalogeras Sisters for the first time! Both collaborations bring exciting new faces to their channel, with Dan and Phil being a very notable addition. These two have been around on YouTube together since 2009, and have fairly recently confirmed their relationship after years of speculation from their fans.

They’re also bringing back many familiar faces, including BENOFTHEWEEK, ExploringWithJosh, Pythian Priestess, GroovyGavin, TylerBlanchard, Haunted Nights, and Mystic Dylan. Many returning guests are popular YouTubers, and some, such as Pythian Priestess, are otherwise involved in the paranormal community.

This Year’s Locations

Golbach and Brock released the known locations for Hell Week 666 on Sept. 27. This year’s locations include castles, caverns, abandoned institutions, Appalachia Mountains, and a mystery location. This is where each of the six episodes will take place and when they will be released!

New Dracula’s Castle (also known as the Corvin Castle)

Located in Romania, this is where the man who inspired the story of Dracula (Vlad the Impaler) was rumored to have lived. This episode was released on Oct. 4.

Asylum X or St. Brigid’s Psychiatric Hospital

Located in Ireland, this is an abandoned asylum rumored to be haunted by its previous patients. This episode was released on Oct. 7.

Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary

Located in Tennessee, this is part of the history of the well-known and haunted Appalachian area. This episode was released on Oct. 11.

Lemp Caverns (aka America’s Catacombs)

Located in St. Louis, Missouri, the caverns are best known for being a haunted site that many people visit to this day. This is set to release on Oct. 14.

Alone in Appalachia

This location is quite ambiguous; they haven’t specified where exactly it will be, but anyone with knowledge of haunts knows that Appalachia is infamous for its creepy atmosphere and the haunting stories told by its residents. This is set to release on Oct. 18.

???

This mystery location will no doubt be disclosed only when the video for it is posted. A fun hook to keep everyone on their toes, wondering where Sam and Colby have been and where they have taken their guests. This final video, ending Hell Week 666, will be released on Oct. 25.

Whether you’re a veteran fan like me or watching for the first time, Hell Week 666 ought to be an entertaining, scary, and funny experience. So, the next time you’re stuck with nothing spooky to watch, check out Sam and Colby’s Hell Week 2026 on their YouTube channel or Netflix.
