BookTok enthusiasts and Funko fans, it finally happened: Funko has just announced a new Pop Books collection for A Court of Thorns and Roses (or ACOTAR), and it’s got some of our favorite book villains, boyfriends, and even the inspiring female heroine. Sign. Me. Up.
On Aug. 31, Funko teased the release on their Instagram with a reel showing the ACOTAR book with half of the famous quote by one of our favorite bat boys, Rhysand: “There you are, I’ve been looking for you.” The following day, Sept. 1, Funko announced that the Pops are officially available for pre-order.
Fans absolutely lost it at the news, with one writing “I NEEEEEED THEM” and another commenting “Well, that’s my money goneÂ
The collection will feature characters from the first book in Sarah J. Maas’s ACOTAR series. So, there will be a Pop collectible for Feyre Archeron, Rhysand, Tamlin, Lucien Vanserra, Amarantha, and Suriel. There are two Tamlin Pops available, one of him in his beast form and another in his human form, complete with a special feature: a metallic mask that is a staple of his look in book one. While I don’t like him (and who does?), I have to admit his Pop is pretty cute. (But not as cute as Rhysand’s. Sorry, not sorry!)
Feyre’s collectible on the Funko site is a premium Pop of the memorable scene where she paints her dresser. However, there are also two other Feyre Pops available exclusively on other websites. Through the Barnes & Noble website, you can pre-order an exclusive Barnes & Noble Feyre collectible of her holding her signature bow and arrow, likely based on her appearance in one of the first scenes in the first book.
But Books-A-Million, also known as BAM, also has its own exclusive Feyre Pop, featuring her memorable look from when Rhysand dressed her in sheer clothing and body paint under the mountain. (Funko seriously thought of everything.) A quick note though: the Amarantha and Tamlin (beast form) Pops are web exclusive, so they are only available in the online shop.
On the Funko website homepage, there is a sliding promotion that advertises this new collection drop. If you click “pre-order now,” you’ll be taken to the section of the website where you can find all the ACOTAR Pops available for pre-order. The estimated pre-order ship date is Oct. 1, so you’ll likely have your hands on them before Sarah J. Maas’s next book hits the shelves.Â
With this Pop collection and A Court of Splintered Harmony releasing within the next two months, these releases are starting to feel like an early Winter Solstice present… IYKYK.
