I Got a Text! New Islanders Have Arrived

Love Island USA is back in the villa this summer, and it started with a bang.

Peacock’s Love Island USA officially returned this summer, premiering June 2 with its eighth season. The reality dating series has sparked plenty of buzz over the last few years. While the show originated in the United Kingdom, it has found a large audience in the United States. The series is hosted by Ariana Madix and narrated by Iain Stirling.

The show is filmed in Fiji, where the islanders spend six weeks trying to make it to the end in search of love and a potential cash prize. The season begins with 10 single islanders and ends with the top four couples. But don’t get it twisted — these islanders have to avoid being dumped from the villa while having their connections tested by incoming bombshells who enter throughout the season.

Not only do they face challenges in the game, but they also face America, which can see their every move. To spice things up even more, America gets a say in what happens. Through the Love Island USA app, viewers can vote on everything from who gets coupled up to who gets sent home. America is always ready to stir the pot.

This summer, it’s getting messy. There have already been seven episodes, and one islander has already walked the plank. Some connections have been tested, and several bombshells have entered the villa. Oh, and America has already had its first vote. This season of Love Island USA is just getting started.

Love Island USA is streaming now on Peacock, with new episodes airing every day except Wednesdays. Episodes are released at 9 p.m. ET. Make sure to download the app to participate in real time and vote throughout the season. After all, you don’t want to miss out on this summer’s drama and romance.
