The internet loves to speculate about celebrity and influencer drama, especially when it plays out online. The recent internet feud between podcast host Alex Cooper and TikToker Alix Earle has turned into a messy public battle, with many cryptic TikToks, business disagreements, and accusations of meanness circulating on social media. Here is a full breakdown of how all of the drama unfolded.

August 2023

Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper launched her media company called the “Unwell Network,” aimed at developing influencers for Gen Z Audiences. One of her first major signings was Alix Earle, a TikToker known for her “Get Ready with Me” videos and large following. She soon announced her podcast Hot Mess, and fans were immediately excited.

September 2023

Hot Mess was officially launched, and Cooper and Earle were constantly promoting each other online. Fans were loving their partnership.

Mid 2024

Fans began to notice fewer interactions and less support shared between the two. Earle and Cooper appeared less together and less supportive of each other. This led to rumors being spread online.

Early 2025

Reports are emerging that Earle’s podcast, Hot Mess, is leaving the “Unwell Network.” She was also no longer attending the Unwell Events and had deleted the branding from her social media, fueling even larger rumors.

March 2026

Fans see Alix reposting TikToks that they think shade Alex Cooper subtly. TikTok is increasingly speculating about a fallout between the two.

April 2026

This is when things fully began to heat up, with Alex Cooper publicly addressing the drama for the first time in a TikTok, saying: “The passive-aggressive reposts…just say what you gotta say about me. I know what happened, and so do you.”

This makes the video blow up almost immediately with Earle responding in a comment: “Okay on it!!,” and later posting a sarcastic TikTok laughing with her friends about the situation after Coachella. This response didn’t answer any questions and just made the situation bigger.

Later, Influencer Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia publicly sided with Alix Earle and called Cooper a mean girl. Cooper then responds to her by posting screenshots of their private DMs, saying, “This girl-on-girl shit needs to stop.”

Fans remain split, with some supporting Cooper for finally speaking out and others supporting Earle for handling the situation more calmly and discreetly. This feud remains unresolved, with fans speculating about what happened. Both parties have yet to offer more clues about what happened between them, and it looks like there probably won’t be public answers.
