Margot Robbie gained a ton of attention on her “Barbie” press tour; not only for the movie, but also for her on-theme outfits. She matched traditional Barbie’s aesthetic with bright pinks and structured costumes that social media users and fashion lovers swooned over.

Now, almost three years later, the actress and her stylist, Andrew Mukamal, are dressing up again for her movie, “Wuthering Heights,” which premiered on Feb. 13. Robbie portrays Catherine Earnshaw from the 1847 Emily Brontë novel.

The world premiere schedule began in Los Angeles on Jan. 28. Robbie walked the red carpet in an extravagant gown with a corset top and mermaid silhouette. The custom Schiaparelli Couture by Daniel Roseberry started from a beautiful lace top and dropped into a black to red ombré bottom. The featured red reflects the color’s symbolism in the novel, even Jacob Elordi, Robbie’s co-star, says red represents the shared heartbreak between Catherine and his character, Heathcliffe.

The gown was paired with a necklace, originally owned by Elizabeth Taylor. The Cartier Taj Mahal Diamond Necklace was given to Taylor for her 40th birthday, by her husband Richard Burton.

Robbie told E! News, “If I was to find a somewhat modern day reference to Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, it would have been my Catherine and Heathcliffe.”

Five days later, on Feb. 2, Robbie and the Wuthering Heights cast traveled to Paris for their second world premiere.

Robbie followed the gothic theme with a custom Thom Browne Couture dress. The monochromatic black look had a unique cut-out skirt and a corset tie down the front of the gown. The sleeves and hips featured intricate lace detailing. Her jewelry was custom made by Jessica McCormack.

The third world premiere in the United Kingdom received a lot of attention online for its unique elements. The custom Dilara Findikoglu dress featured braided detailing, resembling hair, woven into the sheer gown’s dynamic structure. The dress matches the corset theme that Robbie has followed throughout the entire press tour including events outside of the premiere red carpets.

Created in collaboration with Wyedean and the Brontë Parsonage Museum, Robbie wore a replica of Charlotte Brontë’s “Bracelet of Charlotte.” Charlotte Brontë wove the bracelet from the hair of her dead sisters, one being the author of the novel. The braided look from the dress followed the dynamic history behind the simple accessory.

The last world premiere took place Feb. 12, in Sydney.

Robbie wore a ghostly custom Ashi Studio Couture gown. The costume featured sheer tulle off-the-shoulder sleeves and a tulle skirt, dramatically shredded and distressed at the cuffs and hem.

From the beautiful red gown to this hauntingly stunning dress mimics Catherine Earnshaw’s character progression throughout the film. It’s no mystery that Robbie takes her characters’ aesthetics to heart with each red carpet. Watching her at the premieres only increases excitement for the movie she’s premiering.
