Never Too Early

Although the holiday season isn’t quite here yet, I am one to start the celebrations early. Christmas, Thanksgiving, and the smell of pumpkin spice in the air. The sound of football in the background while you are baking cookies for the holiday celebrations. In light of all this, I start thinking about what I will be asking for, and what I will get for my loved ones who deserve so much. The classic saying it’s not all about the presents, which I agree is most definitely not, shopping for someone you love and getting them something that they deserve makes me feel good, and getting a little something to unwrap on a special holiday is also incredibly special.

Little knick-knacks are also one of my favorites for stocking stuffers. You could buy these practically anywhere, for any price range you might be in. Knowing what the person you are shopping for really wants is a challenge, but little things like these are always sweet. Mini sets of lip balm are useful and also cute. Hair clips, along with hair ties, are also handy when you inevitably lose them. Some of my favorite hair clips are from Amazon and Emi Jay from Sephora.

A warm fuzzy blanket could never go wrong, and if you’re somewhere cold, where it might be snowing around the holiday season, consider a heated blanket to give you extra warmth during the frigid months of the winter season. Jellycats are adorable and add perfect decorations for any room.

One of my favorite gifts that land on the more thoughtful side is an ornament representing each year. I have compiled a stack of them since I was younger. Looking back on the ones I have collected brings back a sense of nostalgia and happiness.

Socks, if you told younger me I would love getting socks as a present, I would’ve told you that you were crazy, but now I can’t get enough. Some of my favorite ones are from Bambas and Lululemon. A daily planner. I am a planner by heart, having things right in front of my face written down on a piece of paper is honestly the only way I will remember to do anything.

Also, something I would have never thought to get myself, as I figured my phone or my computer planner did just fine. A physical planner is life-changing and keeps me, as a college student, extra organized. Gift cards, at the end of the day, when you want to treat someone to something special but are not sure what they may like, you could never go wrong with a gift card. Treating yourself to a little bit of retail therapy is just what someone may need.
