Stanley’s Lunar New Year Cup Is *So* Cute… & Sold Out

Your favorite drinkware brand has done it again. On Jan. 25, Stanley announced two new Lunar New Year tumblers, available for a limited time only. However, there’s no need to fight off some 10-year-olds at your local Target bestie, because these tumblers are already sold out. Seriously.

Now, if you’ve been on social media (or really anywhere), then you’ve probably witnessed the craze around the viral drinkware brand. Over the past year, Stanleys have been flying off of the shelves with every new release. Why exactly? I’m not entirely sure — it’s really just a cup… but I guess it’s a really good cup: Stanley is known for their double-wall vacuum insulation which is said to keep water and ice cold for 40 hours. Plus, they look super cute, too. That makes sense to me.

Created in both red and cream colorways, the Lunar New Year Quencher H2.0 tumbler ($35) features gorgeous illustrations of Camellia flowers and Sakura blossoms, as well as shining gold detailing. The new tumblers also hold up to 30 ounces of water, so you’ll stay hydrated in style.

Inspired by the 2024 Lunar New Year, these exclusive Stanley tumblers were inspired by the Wood Dragon. In Chinese mythology, the Wood Dragon represents growth and stability through positivity, cooperation, collaboration, and patience. The Lunar New Year starts on Saturday, Feb. 10, and ends on Saturday, Feb. 24.

I’ve gotta be honest: The cup is really cute. And, if it were in stock, I would definitely try my best to get my hands on it.

When will Stanley restock the Lunar New Year tumbler?

While the new collection has already sold out, here’s to hoping that Stanley restocks soon. However, in the meantime, there are tons of other Stanley alternatives to quench your thirst. But, if you’re looking for the real thing, you might have to wait it out or settle for a colorway that’s already in stock. Either way, I’m just glad you’re drinking water.
