Here are my favorite spots to study on campus! I’m my most productive in these spaces and wish to share them with you, dear reader.
- The Jefferson Scholars Lounge

Located on the second floor of Waggener Hall, the Jefferson Scholars lounge is an intimate and comfy space to sit and study. I often write my essays here, considering the lounge is my home away from home. As a bonus treat, there are free snacks and coffee to enjoy!
- The Rooftop of the WCP

Plenty of students go to the WCP to study, as the building accommodates busy-bees such as myself! My favorite spot in the building to study however is the rooftop; I love soaking up the sun as I work on my assignments or write my tasks for the week in my planner. It’s crucial for your skin to see the sun when studying for long periods at a time, you don’t want to lock yourself away in the dark.
Reminder: Wear your sunscreen every day, especially when studying outside!
- The (KIns)olving Lounge

I love the convenience of grabbing lunch at Kins, then heading to the lounge to study between classes. What motivates me about this space are the pictures and biographies of women in Texas who made history, as it encourages me to kick butt in my honors classes, and as a history major! Sometimes I’ll imagen myself on a wall such as theirs one day, it helps when I’m in a studying lull.
