“Oogum Boogum Song” by Brenton Wood
This song is fantastic. It’s the type of song that you know you’ve heard it before, easy to catch along and sing and becomes impossible to not dance to or at the very least nod your head.
“Bang Bang” by Dizzy Gillespie
Another song that’s easy to dance to, with undertones of emotion. You can probably guess the main two lyrics in the entire song, but I recommend listening to this while doing homework or something while multitasking.
“Sleepwalk” by Santo & Johnny
When listening to this song, I first thought I’ve heard it on TikTok. A song with no lyrics but still nice to listen to. After seeing the movie, the title is a fitting juxtaposition with the contents.
“Twilight Time” by The Platters
This song just has an old-school feeling, which is fitting for a film based in the 1950s. Listening to “Twilight Time” makes me think of the show “The Twilight Zone,” and although I’ve never watched a minute of it, I can connect the weird, sci-fi vibe.
“The Right Time” by Ray Charles
It’s sufficient to know that Ray Charles wrote this one, which alone warrants a listen. If you listen to this, you may as well also listen to “Hit the Road Jack” (it doesn’t even matter that it wasn’t in the movie, but while you’re searching Ray Charles just queue this up).
“Someone to Watch Over Me” by Ella Fitzgerald
You realize the creepiness of this song when you watch the movie. A pretty slow song, I would not normally recommend but I am so weirded out listening to this song after watching the twisted ending of “Don’t Worry Darling.”
“Where or When” by Benny Goodman Trio
Maybe it’s the fact that when you listen to this song you can hear the resemblance of a record being played, or maybe its lyrics “I can’t seem to remember where or when” but this song encapsulates the lyrical theme of the movie. I would not suggest listening to this song a lot, but recommend listening at least once if you’re deliberating watching the movie.
“Sh-Boom” by The Chords
This song is a “Don’t Worry Darling” crossover with an animated classic, “Cars.” Once again fitting for the time period of the movie, and I recommend listening to you if you want to reminisce to your old animated watching days.
“Comin’ Home Baby” by Mel Tormé
A happy song unless you are strictly listening in terms of the movie. Regardless, “Comin’ Home Baby” is an enjoyable song to dance to in your free time when you’re not trying to illegally stream “Don’t Worry Darling.”
“With You All the Time” by Florence Pugh and Harry Styles
Creepy. Made for the movie. I feel like I’m rewatching a specific part of the movie (if you’ve seen it you would understand) when I listen to this song.
“Need Your Love So Bad” by Little Willie John
Slow and soul. I think I need to start listening to more R&B and soul after watching.
