This summer UIC is offering its students free art and art history classes, workshops, and other art projects. For one month (July 6th-August10th) students will be able to register for non-credited art classes at no cost! World-renowned artists and scholars will teach a variety of different art classes that showcase a diverse mix of artistic expression and rich history.

Classes are on a first come first serve basis. Students can register online and attend any class that is available.  Miguel “Kane One” Aguilar, Kevin Coval, Irina Zadov, and Christine Sun Kim are a few featured artists and scholars that will be teaching some of the art classes at UIC. This is a great opportunity for students to take advantage of because it is completely free and students will learn from some of the best artists in Chicago.

For more information, visit UIC’s School of Art and Art History to sign up for specific art class sessions. Since these classes are popular and spaces fill up quick, new classes have been added every Friday! Be sure to visit the website frequenty to be kept up to date with which classes are open and perfect for you.
