A college campus can sometimes feel like its own world. If you live on campus, you could go all four years without stepping off UGA’s campus. That being said, like all worlds, there are rules that need to be followed and faux pas that need to be avoided at all costs. Here are some things to avoid doing on UGA’s campus or else the consequences could be deadly (if looks could kill, that is).

Walking under the arch

Cutting in line at the Tate bus stop

Saying you don’t know who Kirby Smart is

Wearing your backpack on a crowded bus

Slowly texting while walking down the sidewalk so no one can get around you

Wearing merch from another SEC school

Leaving an empty seat on a crowded bus

Being the only person in an MLC study room

Stopping to talk to your friends on the middle of the “million dollar” staircase

Not donating your football ticket if you can’t attend the game

Taking the elevator to the second floor of the MLC

Taking an entire table at Bolton during lunch time

Talking on the fourth floor of the MLC

Walking in front of an orbit bus when it’s about to get to the Tate stop

Taking someone’s seat in class half way through the semester
