No one expected freshman Garrett Gilbert to play in the 2010 BCS National Championship game and neither did he. Texas almost had a comeback in the second half, but in the end, Gilbert was not ready to take on the determined Alabama crimsons. Although we are heartbroken that our team lost the game, many of us would agree that Gilbert did well, especially at such an intense game. What’s your take on the new quarterback for the fall?
