WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- 6 Cups of Corn Flakes (But don’t be too “Flake-y.” Ha.)
- 1 Cup of Sugar
- 1 Cup Light Corn Syrup
- 1 Cup Creamy Peanutbutter
- Wax Paper
- Large Mixing Bowl
- Medium Saucepan
- A Desire to Dream
Step 1
Combine sugar and corn syrup in a medium to large saucepan under medium heat until sugar disolves. Stir continually as not to burn sugar. (Note, may or may not cause heart attack from delicious overloading).
Step 2
While your sugar and syrup are heating up, pour your corn flakes into a large bowl and set them aside until your mix is finished.
Step 3
Once your sugar and syrup are combined in a nice liquid-y glob of unhealthy godliness, immediately remove from heat and add your holy mounds of peanut butter.
Step 4
Now that your peanut butter is stirred into your sugar/syrup mix, pour it over your bowl of corn flakes and start stirring. You’ll probably be doing this for a bit of time in order to ensure the mix is completely covering all the corn flakes, but at least it’s a good arm workout in the process. It will start to harden as you mix, and should look somewhat like this when you’re finished:
Step 5
Lay out your wax paper on a clean surface and start balling your cookies! Size is up to you. Some people like to flatten them a bit, I personally prefer them in ball-shape.
Step 6
Plop one of these dream-boats in your mouth and get ready for all your cookie dreams to come true. Enjoy!
