Do you like burritos? Do you like laughing? Do you like people who like these things? Then read on to meet Rosa Bonilla (instagram: @rbonilla12) and see a little something that you might enjoy. I sat down with her last week in the Adams Dhall, and while I typed, she laughed and ate a burrito. It was, like her, a really fun time.

Who: Rosa Bonilla

House: Adams

Hometown: Canton, MA 02021 . . . do you need that?

Concentration: Mechanical Engineering

Describe yourself in 3 words:

Oh God **drops rice out of the bottom of her burrito** Can I do two if one of them’s two words?

Sure!

Ok, I would say genuine and perpetually amused. That’s accurate, right? How would you describe in three words?

[up to you readers to answer that one ;)]

Favorite HUDS meal:

At dinner, definitely Korean Barbeque. And I must say I’m disappointed with the lack of frequency with which it’s been served in the dining hall this semester. At lunch, I’m really into the mozzarella sandwich thingy and I’m really happy if there’s curly fries too.

What are you involved in on campus?

I’m on the Crimson dance team, and Eleganza *bites burrito*, I’m a PAF *eats rice off of bag under burrito*, I’m an Admissions Office Tour guide, and I’m in Theta *takes another bite*. That’s it, right? Unless office hours count as an extracurricular *laughs*.

What is your favorite Harvard memory thus far?

Housing Day.

Awww! What was the best part of Housing Day?

When they told us we were in Adams!

**we sigh fondly together at the memory**

What do you look for in a significant other?

*burrito is barely visible beneath the tinfoil but she perseveres* I don’t really *laughs*. Well, I guess intelligence, humor, down-to-earthedness *laughs and almost loses the rest of the rice* and . . . if we’re gonna get shallow, physical attractiveness.

What is your best physical trait?

I don’t know, you tell me.

I suggest her dick. She laughs. I’m serious though.

Umm . . . . *eats burrito in small bites to kill time and then gets really serious, thinking*

I’m trying to think of a good answer and failing. Can you just leave it at that? I’ll keep thinking.

[we return at the end of the interview]. Well, I kinda like my arms. I like when I’m putting up my pony tail and I see some muscle and I’m like ‘hey’.

Who do you consider to be your celebrity look alike?

Um, somebody told me once in the Harvard Shop that I look like Selena Gomez and I said OK, I’ll take it. Ummm, she’s not a celebrity but there’s some girl at MIT who really looks like me, and my friend took a photo of and sent it to me. She even had the same backpack as me and that was weird. I dunno, *is there any burrito left idk but she’s still eating it* someone hispanic I guess.

Oh! My aunt told me she just started watching a show where there’s someone in it who reminds her of me and looks like me but I don’t know who it is. Is that enough?

Who’s your celebrity crush?

Um . . . wait, I have a few, do I have to pick one?

No.

Ok, Jake Gyllenhaal is a really attractive guy. I, like, don’t want to say this, um — but for like ten years I was in love with Joe Jonas. Oh God, there’s so many more I have to think about . . . Ashton Kutcher seems like a really fun guy . . . ooh Joseph Gordon Levitt, he’s really cute. I probably could come up with more but we might be here all night.

OH MY GOD WAIT Travis Wall. I can’t believe I forgot Travis Wall. He was the runner up on “So You Think You Can Dance”, and now he has his own show called “All the Right Moves” and it was on for a season and I was obsessed with it and I watched every episode religiously and then it got canceled because I think I was the only one who watched it *laughs and finally puts burrito foil in trash*.

Describe your ideal Date.

Ok, I wanna go to a fancy restaurant, it doesn’t need to be super expensive, but maybe a little but expensive . .. umm, ok well yeah ok . .. and then um, we can just . . . go for a walk *laughs*  and . . .sit on a bench or the ground *laughs*  . . . presumably it’s really late and dark out and you can see the stars cause we’re not in a big city with all that light pollution and um, yeah.

Oooh what happens then?

Then we talk about constellations.

Favorite movie:

I have a couple favorite movies. “She’s The Man” is just a classic, but “Apollo 13” is also a very important movie to me and my father and *slaps the table emphatically* “500 Days of Summer”, you’ve just got to love it. It’s so real. It’s so heartbreaking. OH! Interstellar was so good though, it was so good.

Surprising fact about you:

Surprising fact about me. Oh! Ok. *points at me angrily*. I did not get into the National Honor Society in high school, and the day after I found out I found out I got into Harvard. So f**k you, NHS. It’s fine, I’m not still mad about it. *picks up phone angrily and swipes through Instagram*

Something you’re most proud of:

I’m proud of my mom. My mom’s really cool and really smart, and she just got a job offer.

Most embarrassing moment at Harvard:

Oh god, I’ve done a lot of embarrassing things. One time — Ok, well, I don’t know if this is the most but I’m gonna throw this out there — I was walking by my old math CA and I kind of had a crush on him, and we used to smile at each other cause we both knew who each other was ‘cause he would grade my psets and one time he was like “hey” and I was like “hey” and then he walked by and then he was saying hi to some girl behind me and then I ran away and cried.

What’s on your Harvard bucket list?

Well, you know, the usual. I mean I already peed on John Harvard, and I did primal scream . . . so I need to do the third one. . .

At any given moment, you are most likely to be found where on campus?

Adams Dining Hall or office hours :)
