Buy lace underwear and model it around alone in your home. You are a goddess, and ethereal being that has as much purpose as the sun or the moon. Act like it.

Realize the fact that if somebody can’t see your virtues, it doesn’t mean you don’t have them.

Pamper yourself. Fill the bathtub with hot water, throw in a bath bomb, and enjoy. Play your favorite songs. Exfoliate your skin, wash your hair, and deep condition it. Don’t dare to leave the bathroom until you’ve polished every single inch of your body. Try to polish your soul, too.

Remember situations you’ve faced in the past. Realize they’re not a big deal anymore. That bad anxiety attack you had two months ago suddenly seems so small that you might want to laugh for being so silly, and now that it’s over all those tears you cried are just extra water for the trees. This will happen over and over, so next time you face a problem, remember that a year from now it will be insignificant.

Go for a walk on your own. Walk aimlessly without a finish line. Come back when you’re tired. There’s no need to rush.

Doodle. Put your mind onto paper. Maybe you’re not that good at living, but you’re good at feeling.

Fresh bed sheets and warm blankets are always a good idea, trust me.

Stare at yourself in the mirror after a long nap and admire how glowing, beautiful, and dream-like your face looks. Naps work wonders.

Stare at yourself in the mirror, daily. Each time, compliment something. Maybe today you like your hair but can’t stand the way your bottom lip sticks out in a perpetual pout. That’s okay, because tomorrow you’ll be delighted at how pure your smile is even though your hair might be a mess.

Prepare your kitchen to bake cookies, just to eat the cookie dough with your fingers.

Practice forgiving yourself.

Learn to love yourself.
