School has been in session just two weeks, and we can already tell it is going to be a busy semester. Between classes, extracurricular activities, and all of those fun social events, finding time for a workout can be tough. And let’s not forget about the Boston winter. Who wants to trek to the Plex when it is 10 degrees outside and feels like -1?

Luckily for us, Reebok and Her Campus are joining forces on Saturday, February 1st for their “Fit-Smart Female” event. The event will teach you how to tone on a time-crunch in the comfort of your dorm using your own body weight, books, bed, water bottles, and whatever else you have lying around! You can attend alone or bring along a partner or roommate for extra motivation.

The workshop will be run by fitness expert Sarah Dussault, a Personal Trainer, Healthy Living Blogger, and exercise enthusiast who has appeared in Women’s Health Magazine, Glamour, Shape, and Men’s Health Magazine. Sarah will teach quick, easy workouts that can either stand on their own or be combined to maximize your calorie burn. She will share with us the most convenient ways to workout, time management tips, and how a short sweat session can help your study habits.

The event will start promptly at 2pm at the Reebok FitHub South Shore located at 250 Granite Street in Braintree, MA. The schedule for the event is as follows:

2-3pm – Class demo + raffle

3-3:30pm – Q&A with Sarah & refreshments

3:30-4pm – 15% off shopping and book signing with Sarah

If you are free on February 1st, then you should definitely consider attending. All participants will leave with gift bags, one incredible takeaway workout, and chances to earn entries into a students only raffle. Make sure to RSVP here and to mark the event in your calendar. We hope to see you there!
