For every one newspaper that we read or news channel that we watch, there are about ten stories of the horrible economy. It is nearly impossible to escape the fact that so many people are having to do without simply because they can’t financially afford things. This is an especially alarming fact for those getting ready to brave the world outside of college.
As I walk the pavements of campus for the first time this semester, a new feeling overwhelms me. It is a certain tightness in my throat, a sweat coming to the surface of my palm like a morning dew to the grass; a feeling that warrants the scratch of the head that perfectly denotes all of the feelings coming over me.
