The 20 Stages of Midterms Week, as told by Michael Cera

We can’t believe it either, collegiettes –– midterms are upon us (Seriously, wasn’t it just summer, like, yesterday!?). Not many things are worse than this dreaded week, and as it rolls around each semester, we all wonder if we’ll make it through. Read below for the 20 stages we all definitely go through during midterms week, as told by Michael Cera.

The library loses all of its chill, so…

You have to cut yourself off from civilization in order to get things accomplished.

You regret every second you procrastinated up to this point…

…and suddenly have to memorize three chapters by *shriek* TOMORROW MORNING!?

You remind yourself that it’s all going to be okay, and –– suddenly, feel a surge of… motivation?

So you begin your studying-adventure, but moments later you become aware that you don’t know anything.

You try and remain positive, but, like, you’re basically at your breaking point.

You decide to procrastinate, because, seriously, what even is the point?

Only to realize hours later that you just wasted even MORE time.

No amount of coffee seems to help.

Junk food seems to be the only one who can comfort you.

You are just so extremely thankful to your professor for giving you a 7-page study guide, when you know probably 10 percent of it will actually be on the exam… #Blessed???

You feel your brain power starting to flatline.

So, you throw your stuff across the room (figuratively –– we hope), and decide you’re just going to wing it.

You arrive in class and sheer panic rushes through your body.

You scold yourself and question why you stopped studying last night.

You finish your first exam and a sigh of relief pulses through your body…

Until you realize you still have four more.

Not to mention that one midterm PAPER due later that day?!

And, as if without a second to waste, history begins to repeat itself.

Better luck next semester?
