Hey collegiettes!
I am thrilled to announce today’s launch of Lose the Freshman 15 with Her Campus & SELF, in which seven collegiettes will be blogging daily for the next eight weeks on Her Campus about losing the freshman 15 by following SELF’s Drop10 Diet, with additional support from partners DietBet, New Balance, and ZICO.
We’ll hear from the bloggers about all the ups and downs of their weight loss journey, as they balance maintaining a healthy lifestyle with full course loads, crazy days packed with extracurriculars, late-night grub temptations and buffet-style dining halls. With the help of the nutrition experts at SELF, we’ll watch these collegiettes get in shape and shed the pounds.
Each blogger has her own story to share with you–you’ll meet Anna from Northwestern University, Danielle from Cornell University, Hayley from the University of Oregon, Lindsey from Temple University, Morgan from University of Georgia, Nicole E from the University of Michigan, and Nicole Y from Amherst College–and you’ll get to know them over their eight weeks blogging. Plus, each blog post has a form at the end of it so you can interact with the bloggers by asking them questions, giving them advice, and more.
But just because you’re not one of our seven bloggers doesn’t mean you can’t join in and lose weight too. In conjunction with our Lose the Freshman 15 program, we’ve launched a Lose the Freshman 15 DietBet, a social weight loss game that lets you lose weight with friends, and make money doing it.
