Lose the Freshman 15: Switching back to real-life mode

This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

dailylog19I’m finally back in Boone. Spring break’s over. And now I have to go back to reality.

Oh boy.

There are pros and cons to both being back on my mountain.

PRO:
I won’t eat out as often as I did last week (Although, I must say I did choose rather healthy choices).

CON:
I now have to buy all those expensive fruits and veggies myself.

PRO:
I can now attend my favorite workout class on Monday nights.

CON:
I don’t have all the time in the world to workout or my parents’ at home gym to enjoy.

I had a lot of fun while at home with my parents in Florida and I think I made some new fans of the Jump Start Diet. My parents loved the dishes I cooked for them. Their favorite? The Italian Halibut Stew. I’m not going to lie. I’m pretty sure that’s my new favorite too.

My main worry about being back at school is that I don’t sleep enough,  and if I don’t sleep, then I don’t have energy to exercise.

So my goal this week is to make sure I sleep 8 hours a day. I need to make a plan though, because honestly, just looking at my life, I’m not sure how it’s going to work.

I guess I’ll have to think on it and just hope for the best, and also pray that eating out (although the healthiest options I could find) did not affect my weight too much over spring break.

Make sure you sign up for the Jump Start Diet. It’s daily tips and recipes have really coached me through these past couple of weeks. Questions? Email me at NikkiRoberti@HerCampus.com or tweet me anytime @Nikki_Roberti.
