Lose the Freshman 15: Not Giving Up on My Diet

This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

Hello collegiettes™!

It’s been a week since my best weigh-in to date, you know… when I found out that I lost the freshman 15 weight (fellow bloggers Nikki and Sara have also reached their goals of losing the freshman 15)! My excitement of finally going back to my sophomore year weight aside, I was determined to keep pushing forward.

Last week, I weighed in at 130 lbs., and when I started my journey with SELF and the Jump Start Diet, I made it my goal to lose the 25 lbs. I put on during my four years of college. 1192445 51095811

The diet and fitness created by SELF that the “Lose the Freshman 15” bloggers have been following is designed for you to lose 2 lbs. each week, and that’s exactly what I did.

I could have easily coasted through this past week and slacked in the cardio department, or even indulged in all of my junk food temptations; however, I succeeded. I’m proud to say that I have lost another 2 lbs. bringing my weight loss to date 17 lbs. lost!

It’s never too late to start a diet! If you’d like to join me in my healthy, happy weight loss (and please do), go register for the Jump Start Diet on SELF.com and be sure to use the SELF logs to keep track of your daily workout and meals, which is an awesome way to keep track of your calorie intake and how much you’re burning off!
