Lose the Freshman 15: I’m Back & Still Going Strong!

I’m back and very happy (as you can tell from my cheesy picture)!

So sorry for slacking on posts collegiettes™. I have had an insanely, not so relaxing spring break. Wednesday I spent the day in New York City doing interviews for summer internships. I woke up on Thursday, went to an outlet mall with my friend, and didn’t get back until midnight. Friday I worked all day and I’m just now getting home at 8 pm on Saturday. Whew! It’s been a busy week.

I have so many things to share with you all! I managed to stick to my diet pretty well in NYC. For breakfast I ate one egg, an orange and one turkey sausage link. For lunch I had a mexican chicken wrap (grilled chicken, veggies, yellow rice, and salsa on a whole wheat wrap). And for dinner I ate grilled chicken, sliced beef and a greek salad. I successfully avoided the temptation of pizza, street vendors and hot dogs and I’m extremely proud of myself.

My shopping time on Thursday at the outlet mall was fun. Not because I notice a huge difference in how clothes fit me, but I was looking forward to getting new clothes once this is all done. There are so many cute styles for the springtime and I can’t wait to try them on my new and improved body!

I hope you girls got to enjoy the great weather today, wherever you are. It was 60 degrees here at and I couldn’t wait to get off work so I could enjoy the sun. I grabbed a friend and walked downtown and back for a workout. It was a total of 4.5 miles. Since we talked the whole time, I barely noticed how far we walked. I like being able to switch up my workout routine when I the weather gets nice. How have you used the weather to be more active?

I hope you are all going strong and staying motivated! Keep your heads up. If you want to talk to me, you know how to reach me!
