Hey Guys,

AHHHHH! This is the last day of my fourth week. Tomorrow starts my second half of Lose the Freshman 15. Most importantly, today is Monday, meaning weigh in day.

I now weigh 161 pounds. That’s 5 less pounds than when I first started. When I was getting ready to do this I had a set goal in mind: lose all 15 pounds by the end of the 8 weeks. At this point I don’t think that will happen but I’m still excited about the progress that I’ve made. While it’s not as much as I wanted, it’s still something. I’m super proud of myself for going to the gym so often, for making healthy choices, and taking better care of myself.

So even though I’ve only lost 5 pounds so far, I look a lot thinner. I’ve gotten some compliments on it too. I’m super happy about where my body is going. For me, I could weigh a million pounds as long as I’m healthy and happy, and look good of course.

Reasons Why I HATE Losing Weight:
1. Need to wear a belt (my pants keep falling off)
2. Need to buy new clothes (soo much time and effort)
3. Guys keep trying to talk to me when I’m trying to have fun at parties
4. People will be able to borrow my clothes soon :(
5. Have to spend more money on a gym then on food :(

I’m in such a good mood that I’m making this a silly silly post. Obviously I’m being sarcastic. I love losing weight to get to a healthier weight.

So progress shouldn’t just be measured by the number of inches around your waist or the number of pounds on the scale. These are my favorite ways to measure my progress

PROGRESS:
1. Being able to walk all the way up Libe Slope without having to huff and puff
2. Sliding into my jeans more easily
3. Being able to go faster on the treadmill
4. Being able to buy a smaller size and IT FITTING!
5. The most important reason: Looking amazing, all the time

Remember guys: Suck it up and one day you won’t have to suck it in

 Lots of love,
Danielle
