Hey collegiettes™!
When I started my diet for the “Lose the Freshman 15” program, I was dreading eating bland foods, but SELF proved me wrong by providing menu with oh-so-yummy options with the Jump Start Diet.
The bloggers were all so lucky to reieve a lovely package for the great folks at Sargento. I was thrilled when I came home to a package of a super cute market bag filled with their great products.
My awesome package inspired me to have my very own cheesy-filled day using Sargento products for breakfast, lunch and a snack! For being reduced fat products, there was certainly no lack of flavor! That’s why I just had to give everything a taste with each meal.
Breakfast: Veggie Scramble (450 cal.)
- Combining 10 cherry tomatoes & 1 cup of sliced portobellos in a nonstick pan until soft
- Add 1 whole egg, 1 egg white, and scramble until cooked
- Serve with 1 slice whole-grain toast topped with 1 teaspoon almond butter, 1 tsp. raw honey, & Sargento shredded cheese

SNACK: String Cheese and Apple (200 cal.)
- 2 Sargento mozzarella string cheese
- 1 apple

LUNCH: Turkey & Cheese Sammy (350 cal.)
I changed up SELF‘s suggestions for sandwiches here by opting for a deli turkey and cheese sandwich as opposed to tomato soup & a sammy, or a turkey hoagie from Subway.
- Turkey Hill’s lean ham, cherry tomatoes in balsamic vinegar, avocado slices, Sargento cheese, and carrots on whole wheat bread
