12 Black-Owned Sexual Health Businesses You Need on Your Radar

A part of genuine allyship is supporting Black-owned businesses. The sexual wellness industry seems to be predominantly run by white people, or at least the companies you typically hear about are.

The World Health Organization describes sexual health as "a state of physical, mental, and social well-being in relation to one’s sexuality.” Taking care of your sexual health can involve education, experimentation, and exploring sexuality. And just so you, know, sexual health businesses are a key factor in helping all people take care of their bods. As such, it’s about damn time to shine a light on Black-owned sexual wellness companies making a difference out there. Keep an eye out for them on your own, but if you need a place to start, check out these 12 that I'm obsessed with.  [bf_image id="q4sgz9-7yew4o-168rkh"]

Bedroom Kandi, created by singer and former Real Housewife Kandi Burruss, intends to empower its customers and promote self-love through sexuality. It offers a variety of sex toys, lube, and bath products. A unique aspect of this brand is that there is a consultant program, where one can educate the public on sexual wellness, and even host Bedroom Kandi parties, where one can invite a consultant over! Honestly, I’m really digging the idea of a party.
