Kim Kardashian West has historically set a lot of beauty and fashion trends, but we’re starting to think that her looks may be the work of an unexpected personal stylist: Kanye West. On a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim revealed that Kanye sent her an email to stop wearing her signature big sunglasses.
“He sent me a whole email like, ‘You cannot wear big glasses anymore,'” Kim said. “He sent me like, millions of nineties photos with tiny little glasses.” You can see a snippet of the episode in this clip from People.
If small-framed ’90s glasses are going to be the new wave, we’re here for it. But oversized sunnies have been a staple accessory in Kim’s wardrobe like…forever.

With Kanye being a successful music artist and fashion designer, it’s definitely a no-brainer that he might have some input on Kim’s wardrobe. We’ve previously seen Kanye provide style advice for Kim by cleaning out her closet on an episode of KUWTK, as well as influencing her street style as she models pieces from the Yeezy collection. But also, like, who does this guy think he is if he’s telling a beautiful, stylish woman how to accessorize?
