The Weirdest Hair and Makeup Looks from NYFW

New York Fashion Week always brings out the best, worst and craziest styles. Although fashion week is all about the clothes, the hair and makeup are just as important, as they bring the looks together. Designers like to take risks in order to stand out on the runway, but sometimes the models end up with some crazy looks. We found some of the absolute weirdest looks from NYFW — check them out below!

Hache

The eye makeup on the runway during this show was intense. This model was rocking a smeared, messy smoky eye with little makeup on the face or lips. Her hair was relatively understated with a messy, undone look that I actually like!

Hache

Continuing with the crazy eye makeup on the Hache runway, this model was wearing an interesting eye look with bright colors on the lid and thick black liner on the bottom lash line. Like the above model, the hair was kept natural, in order to keep the focus on the bold eyes.

Alice and Olivia

Instead of doing a hair look for this show, they decided to just pop an elaborate boat headpiece on the models head. To balance out the bold headwear, they kept the makeup classic with a fresh face and subtle eyes. Uh, interesting – but we have a feeling we won’t be seeing much more of this look.

This look was certainly different from what we usually see on the runway. The dark, runny makeup and flat, messy hair look was a bit scary, making the ‘fear’ written all over her outfit seem appropriate. It’s a bit of a smoky eye gone wrong. This may win for the weirdest look on the runway.

Anna Sui

This hairstyle certainly wasn’t the weirdest look at NYFW, but the middle set bangs on all of the models was an interesting twist on a classic look. Who knows, this may become a new trend?

These were just a few of the weirdest looks we saw on the runway this NYFW. Would you be daring enough to rock one of these looks? Let us know in the comments below!
