Last night, fashion’s finest celebrated the upcoming Versace for H&M collection at Manhattan’s Pier 57. Between the fabulous clothes and the star-studded guest list, this event could’ve been a part of New York Fashion Week! Since all of our invitations were obviously lost in the mail, allow me to give you a recap of the fashion festivities!
The Guest List: It’s no surprise that the event’s guest list was completely fabulous. Celebrities, designers, models, and fashion photographers all attended the extravaganza to support Versace’s latest accomplishment: Jessica Alba, Christopher Kane, Sofia Coppola, Jennifer Hudson, Blake Lively, Emma Roberts, Coco Rocha, Patrick Demarchelier, Joseph Altuzarra, Linda Evangelista, Bruce Weber, and Anna Sui were just some of the fashionable attendees. Did your jaw just drop? Mine sure did!
Musical Performances: A fashion extravaganza is nothing without stellar musical performances. Leave it to a Versace and H&M collaboration to bring two of the coolest musicians together. Both Nicki Minaj and Prince performed at the fashion show’s after party. That’s a mini concert I’d love to see!
The Fashion: So let’s talk about the clothes, shall we? In true Versace fashion, there was a runway show to display the new collection. Fashionistas, you’re going to love it! From metallic minis to faux fur vests, this collection is filled with collegiette™ must-haves for every occasion. Some of the silk dresses, for example, are perfect to wear to your job or internship. Other silk dresses, on the other hand, will make awesome party dresses! Can we talk about how cool the printed leggings will look with an oversized sweater? An easy and chic look to wear to classes! The collection’s super edgy jewelry, scarves, shoes, and handbags will spice up any outfit! Not only does Versace for H&M have awesome clothes, but the collection also includes pillows and bedspreads. Are you thinking what I’m thinking? Dorm makeover! The collection’s prices range from $19.95 to $299.
