Trending Now: 7 Holiday Looks You’ll Need to Recreate, Like, Now

ICYMI, the most wonderful time of the year is upon us. That’s right, the holidays are just beyond these two cruel weeks of final projects and exams, and I couldn’t be any more thrilled. With steaming hot chocolate in my hands and the largest plaid blanket scarf I can manage around my neck, it’s safe to say I’m more than ready to start crafting my holiday looks. Whether it’s a New Year’s Eve outing or a formal dinner with the fam, the time to start getting some outfit inspo for all those holiday occasions is now.

So break out all your deep red pieces and get ready to rock all the f*cking sparkle, because we’re most definitely embracing the extra this season. Here are just a few of the latest ‘fits we’ve been loving for all of our holiday inspo from members of Her Campus’s InfluenceHer Collective.

1. Bust out the blazer

You cannot go wrong with a plaid blazer during the holidays (bonus points for festive colors like maroon or blue). They’re sure to bring a classy touch to an edgier accent, like these Dr. Martens boots.

2. Knee-high boots are a holiday hit

Keep your legs warm all while looking seriously stylish this holiday season. Pair it with a pastel sweater and purse to complete the look.

3. Sweater and skirt combo is always a go-to

This is easily one of the cutest looks for any Christmas-time occasion. A simple white sweater and a statement skirt, like this plaid button-down, is totally classic (can you tell plaid is having a moment this season?!).

4. Midi dresses are here to slay (or should we say sleigh)

LBR: can you ever go wrong with a form-fitting midi dress for that annual holiday party or New Year’s Eve bash? Plus, this orange color keeps it so on-trend.

5. Oh what fun are these velvet vibes

Keep it retro this season with a color blocked sweater. Take it up a notch with must-have velvet block heels this holiday season.

6. Keep it cozy in the cold

Go monochrome with your ‘fit for when you want a casually chic look during your holiday shopping. Pair it with some sparkle on the ears, like these gold statement earrings.

7. Simply stunning this season

Don’t be afraid to go minimalist during your holiday happenings — nothing’s quite as classic as a fresh white top and skinny jeans to pair.
