7 Spring Nail Trends (That Aren’t Just Florals) You Need To Try

April showers bring May flowers — and cute seasonal nail inspo. There’s nothing like coming out of winter and entering a season filled with colorful blossoms and sunshine. For the next few months, I’m all about pastels and earthy colors. I’m ready to break out the sundresses and midi skirts. To shake things up a bit, I’m adding cute spring-inspired manicures to the mix. It’s time to bid winter colors farewell and get amped up for the spring season. I don’t know about you, but for me, it’s about time I ditch my winter color palette and go for something brighter and happier.

What better way to celebrate the new season than to switch up your nail color rotation with happy spring colors. I’m looking forward to creating my Pinterest board for nail inspo and seeing what others are cooking up for their manis. I’m expecting to see a lot of reds, lavenders, deep blues, and minimal accents this season. I could also see silver or metallic making a special appearance for spring nail inspo, since we’ve been seeing this trend a lot in fashion lately.

This may be your sign to book your next nail appointment or experiment with different nail designs with your besties. Here are seven spring 2023 nail trends to inspire your manicures this season.

Rich Red Nails

A bright, rich red is the perfect nail color to kick off spring. This beautiful color will make your mani stand out without clashing with your outfit. Camilla Morrone from Daisy Jones & The Six was seen rocking shiny red nails in Wonderland’s Spring 2023 issue.

Double French Tips

Double the fun with double the color. This purple and yellow nail combo blends beautifully with a rounded shape. This look is perfect for those who can’t just stick to one solid color.

Flower Accent Nails

Spring is all about the florals. You can create this look with or without a base nail polish. I personally like the clear base and flower accent look.

Swirl Nail Patterns

Looking for a minimal nail look but with a splash of color? This swirl style is the perfect way to spice up your mani without committing to fully painting your nails a bright shade.

Chrome Nails

Just imagine holding your hand up to the sunlight and seeing your nails shimmer. Chrome nails give off rainbow energy with a subtle shimmer.

Royal Blue Nails

These nails make me want to hit the pool with my besties. A royal blue nail is super flattering — especially when it’s topped with a glossy polish

Star Nails

Look like a star! I’ve been seeing a lot of creators on TikTok add little stars on top of their nails, and I’m so here for it! Celebs like Lisa from BLACKPINK have been seen rocking the star nail trend. This nail design gives off the rockstar’s girlfriend aesthetic that’s been popular on TikTok.
