So, Glasses Just Became My Go-To Accessory — Here Are Some Of My Faves

This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

Ok, guys, time for a confession: I’ve been an avid glasses wearer for as long as I can remember (thanks to my awful vision). However, I never really gave much thought to how ~stylish~ my glasses were until recently. TBH, I wish I realized earlier how much glasses and sunglasses can elevate your entire look. For the past few seasons, glasses have been the accessory to have on hand at all times, no matter if you want to make a sophisticated statement or give a fun and unexpected twist to your outfit.

Her Campus had the opportunity to team up with Zenni for the Collegiette Point of View Tour, and I fell in love with their unique collection of frames right then and there. From super-essential prescription glasses to some pretty unique sunglasses, Zenni is most definitely killing the game when it comes to must-have eyewear for any occasion. Here are three of my fave looks from Zenni right now.

Everyday in-class chic

If your daily dress code for class consists of stylish athleisure and the trendiest pairs of sneakers, you’ll want a pair of statement-making prescription glasses to bring the whole look together. A charming pair of prescription glasses can really up your accessory game even when you’re sitting through a lecture. My favorite prescription glasses look right now has to either be the classic tortoise frame (which gives such a sophisticated look) or the wire frame glasses that make me feel oh so classy. Either way, incorporating a little bit of style into your prescription glasses is 100% a fool-proof accessory that matches any outfit, no matter how casual or dressed up.

Statement-making style

If you want to step out of your regular comfort zone, a brand new pair of glasses are the perf accessory when you’re looking to try a new look. I personally tried out some bold glasses, especially when I wanted to give the UV+ blue-blocking lenses a go. Zenni’s blue-light blocking glasses are so essential for any college student, hardworking intern or new grad in the #adult working world — they protect your eyes from eye-straining blue light that’s emitted from our laptops and phones. A vibrant and unique pair of frames is so necessary for adding some fun into your work life.

Must-have weekend sunnies

From taking a stroll around town on the weekends to taking a quick weekend road trip with the girls, you’ll want to make sure you have some fashionable sunnies by your side. Sunglasses can immediately kick an outfit up a notch and add a whole other level of style. The best part about Zenni is that you can take literally any frame that you’re obsessing over and turn them into a pair of tinted, UV-ray-protecting pair of sunglasses. As for my favorite style of sunnies at the moment, I’m totally digging the mirrored lenses right now (and they also happen to super cute in photos).
