I’m A Beauty Editor & Here Are My Top Picks From Sephora’s Holiday Savings Event

Now that Halloween’s over, the holiday season is officially kicking into full gear — I mean, after all, Starbucks did just release their new holiday bevvie menu. And another great way to welcome in the holiday season is with Sephora’s Holiday Savings Event sale! Whether you want to get an early start on holiday shopping or treat yourself to a little something (you deserve it, bestie!), Sephora has got you covered with some awesome beauty discounts.

Starting on Nov. 3, Sephora Insiders can score 10% off their purchase through Nov. 7 — so you have to act fast. To snag the discount, use code SAVINGS online at checkout — and if you’re shopping IRL, just mention the sale at checkout. Sephora Rouge members also get 20% off (oh, how I wish I was Rouge) and Sephora VIB members get 15% off through Nov. 7. Also, if that wasn’t already a total slay, all Sephora Collection products are 30% off through Nov. 7.

Below are some of my top picks for this Sephora Holiday Savings Event sale as a beauty-obsessed editor here at Her Campus. I’ve tried and tested out a lot of beauty products, and these are my holy grail picks in my bathroom cabinet that I can’t live without.

Youth to the People Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser

I have repurchased the Youth to the People Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser ($36) so many times, I’ve truly lost count — I love it that much. I have oily and combination skin, so I find that this cleanser works really well to clear up my pores. Formulated with healthy ingredients like kale, spinach, and green tea, this cleanser is like a green smoothie for your skin. It’s also great for if you have sensitive skin. Thank me later, bestie.

Kosas Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer and Daytime Eye Cream

If you buy one thing on this list, please make it the Kosas Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer and Daytime Eye Cream ($28). This concealer is extra creamy and really conceals whatever you need it to, from blemishes to eye bags. As a college student who stayed up until midnight sometimes working on 10-page essays, this concealer quickly became my go-to product.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Niacinamide Dew Drops

Honestly, when I first tried the Glow Recipe Watermelon Niacinamide Dew Drops ($34) — which first went viral on TikTok — I was a bit skeptical. But I quickly fell in love with this product — not only does it have a yummy watermelon scent, but it also really helps minimize my pores and combat hyperpigmentation. The watermelon in the drops also helps hydrate and brighten the skin, which is a must with the weather getting colder.

amika Perk Up Talc-Free Dry Shampoo

A fun fact about me is that I struggle with an oily and dry scalp, which is just *awesome* — it s the best of both worlds! However, I’ve tried a lot of dry shampoos and I’ve found that the amika Perk Up Talc-Free Dry Shampoo ($26) seriously helps me the most with my oily roots. I’ve rebought this product so many times and have recommended it to all my friends — it really is that good.

MERIT Flush Balm Cream Blush

One of my favorite beauty trends lately is lots of blush, and the MERIT Flush Balm Cream Blush ($28) helps me get that natural, flushed look on my cheeks. The blush has a bit of a dewy, radiant finish as well, which just looks so pretty on the skin. It’s also super easy to apply and bring with you on-the-go! (Oh, and this is one of Matilda Djerf’s fave beauty products.)

SEPHORA COLLECTION Eyelash Curler

I never used to use an eyelash curler, but now that I’ve used one, I can’t go back to my old ways. The SEPHORA COLLECTION Eyelash Curler ($14) is great quality and works really well in curling my lashes. Oh, and it’s now 30% off, meaning that it’s less than $10 until Nov. 7. Major score.

Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Tea Tree Cooling Hydration Mask

Another product that really helps my scalp is the Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Tea Tree Cooling Hydration Mask ($34). I use it once a week and it really aids in clearing up buildup from my scalp — and it lasts a while! It’s also super highly-rated on Sephora, with 90% of customers recommending it.

MILK MAKEUP Matte Cream Bronzer Stick

This is one of those products that I’ve been using religiously since high school. I’m not the best at makeup, and the MILK MAKEUP Matte Cream Bronzer Stick ($22) is really easy to apply and blend. It also lasts a really long time, so it’s totally worth your coin!

ILIA Limitless Lash Lengthening Clean Mascara

Bestie, I hate to break it to you, but it’s time to throw out your old, crusty mascara. The ILIA Limitless Lash Lengthening Clean Mascara ($28) is easily one of my favorite mascaras — it really helps lengthen my lashes, and I love that it’s formulated with clean ingredients. It also has thousands of five star reviews on Sephora, so you know that this product is the real deal.

Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Calming Serum Mask

If you want glowing skin like Lizzo’s, then you need to snag one of her favorite face masks: the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Calming Serum Mask ($9). I used this for the first time the other day and my skin felt as soft as a baby’s afterward — no joke.

Tower 28 ShineOn Lip Jelly Non-Sticky Gloss

What I love about the TOWER 28 ShineOn Lip Jelly Non-Sticky Gloss ($15) is that it isn’t sticky! (To me, one of the worst feelings in the world is my hair getting stuck to my lip gloss — yuck.) This lip jelly is also highly-rated on Sephora and comes in a wide range of colors.
