Last Thursday, Selena Gomez released the “Bad Liar” music video on Spotify, and I am surprised by the casual appearance the artist chose to show, rather than the more intricate attire she has worn in past videos. In real life though, Selena Gomez is known for her carefree attitude, most of the time sporting little makeup, and just recently, rocking the short hair.
In the “Bad Liar” video, she further shows this carefree side of her by wearing lingerie and a simple vintage t-shirt. However, the second outfit, which consists of an oversized t-shirt and “Kiss” vintage panties, raised eyebrows when fans said the panties were a way for Selena to subliminally pay tribute to her boyfriend The Weeknd. Their argument is that this is a reference to his XO brand. Whatever the reason for the adorable outfits, I am burning with jealousy for Selena’s ability to look sexy in a simple t-shirt and panties outfit.
