This past Sunday, January 27, Hollywood’s most glamorous gathered together at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles for the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Although Jennifer Lawrence had what viewers thought was a wardrobe malfunction, her navy Dior dress was absolutely stunning. Contrary to popular belief, the dress was designed to look that way. “The dress is made with different levels of tulle and satin and that is what the viewers saw when Jennifer lifted her dress slightly,” a Dior representative told Newsday.
Actress Amanda Seyfried was also decked out in navy with her fishtail Zac Posen dress. Seyfried topped off her look with a bohemian inspired Lorraine Schwartz pendant.
Modern Family actress, Sarah Hyland looked absolutely stunning in her floor-length violet gown.
Naomi Watts and Jennifer Garner both broke had metallic moments on the red carpet. Watts wore a silver Marchesa gown and Garner wore a stunning gold Oscar de la Renta gown.
Helen Hunt, actress from Sessions absolutely shined in her platinum beaded Romona Keveza mermaid gown. Hunt’s Swarovski gunmetal crystal clutch added even more shine to her absolutely amazing gown.
For better of for worse, how can you not love awards shows? Between stunning metallic gowns and the occasional wardrobe malfunction, social media definitely makes award shows more entertaining than ever before.
