Perfect Summer Accessories: Pura Vida Bracelets!

Summer is fast approaching and it’s safe to say that collegiettes will begin looking for ways to amp up their wardrobe this season. Cut-offs, flirty dresses, and loose tees will become somewhat of a uniform yet there aren’t too many options when it comes to accessories. If you’ve checked out our Deals & Steals section, a Victoria’s Secret swim catalog, or just about any Coachella streetstyle picture recently then you are guaranteed to find a Pura Vida bracelet adorning someone’s wrist.

So, what makes them so great? Not only do they come in a ton of colors and styles but the company also supports some pretty awesome causes. With every Pura Vida bracelet sold, they donate 1% back to The Surfrider Foundation through an organization called 1% for the Planet. Pura Vida also works to employ artisans in Costa Rica and provide them with not only jobs but also food, clothing, and shelter.

Here are our top three favorite Pura Vida bracelets for summer. Be sure to check them out below then head on over to the Pura Vida website to purchase them!

1. The Bright Pink Braided Bracelet ($15.00)
When we did our giveaway recently in the Deals & Steals section, each of our winners received a braided bracelet of their color choice. Why not choose the bracelet in Her Campus’s favorite color, pink!

2. The Collegiate Collection ($5.00 each)
While not all colleges are represented, these bracelets are a great way to show your school spirit when you’re back home or abroad for the summer. Even if you don’t find your school listed, there are tons of other bracelets on the site to let you mix and match and create a combination to represent your school!

3. Ultimate Neon Style Pack ($27.00 for six bracelets)
Unless you’ve been living under a rock these past few months then you must know neon and bright colors are a huge trend for the summer. If you don’t plan on wearing head-to-toe color, introduce a small pop of it through your accessories with this style pack!
