Orange and Black: A Color Combo You Don’t Have to Avoid!

Over the course of the past month (or longer), we’ve been thinking of what we want to be for Halloween this year β€” it’s never too early to decide, right? That doesn’t mean we don’t push everyday attire to priority number two, though. With orange being one of the hottest colors this fall and in the spirit of Halloween, here are three ways to dress in orange and black β€” without looking like you’re dressed up as a Jack-O-Lantern this season!

Get Dressy

Burnt orange is a great color to put together with black. Its darker, more subdued hue is less festive than its pumpkin orange alternative. A black statement pendant is a good way of introducing darkness to the mix, and a black wedge completes the outfit. Shoes are a good place to start when putting the two colors together because there’s enough distance between the dress and your feet to offset the black and orange combo.

Short Story

Pair a flowy top with a pair of vegan leather shorts to get a look that’s super edgy! Look absolutely leggy with a pair of heeled lace-up boots, and be ready for anything, whether it be a casual day out with your guy or a night out with the girls!

Cute and Cozy

Fall is sweater season, so layer up with loosely-fitted knit pullover. A pair of faded black skinny jeans makes a good match, because not only does a pure black look too Halloween-y, it also gives the outfit too sharp of a look, eliminating the cozy factor. Lastly, nude booties go with any outfit β€” and these lace-ups are perfect for this season.

Which look would you pick? And more importantly…what are you dressing up as this Halloween?
